You're true blue and this world is bananas...

I want to say something. Can I say something? Let me say something.
Please excuse my emotions, as I type this note Adele is singing on my television.

2015 was one of those whacky "sea change" years. I feel great about it. My day-to-day changed drastically, and for the better. I played a lot of beautiful venues, in a lot of beautiful cities, and for a lot of beautiful people. I put out loads of new songs and, judging by the numbers, you're listening to them. They're not quite "Adele's numbers" but that's most certainly due to the fact that, by comparison, I'm not even remotely popular. Also I have zero problem with you streaming my music but, let's be honest, I'm sure it's the popularity thing. Regardless, my sincerest thanks to you for listening and sharing.

Back in October I compiled those released tracks onto a 10" vinyl record, named it after a track called "Stripping For The Blind," and made it available for pre-order. A bunch of you bought them and I'm really happy to say that pre-orders should be in the mail BEFORE 2016!

If you've been thinking about picking one up, this would be a fun time to do that. Seriously I don't have a lot going on at the moment and I'm looking forward to scribbling a ton of little notes and stuffing some records in the mail. Get it.

You're true blue and this world is bananas. I'm grateful. I write songs and I sing them. Sometimes you listen to them while doing whatever it is you do. I dig this relationship and I'm excited to continue holding up my end of the deal.

I hope the holidays are treating you well, enjoy the rest of this year, and I can't wait to see you in the next one. Thanks for a great 2015.
